Ali Bassett is based in Penzance. Following a foundation course at Cheltenham, she studied Fine Art at Spike Island, Bristol.  She has exhibited in Cornwall, Somerset, Bristol, Oxford and London. Her visual language is distinctive, drawing on folk tales, old wives' tales and the wisdom of superstition.
