Having moved to Cornwall from Lancashire, Angela Diggle was based in St Ives. She painted, exhibited and taught art for more than twenty years. Her watercolour classes were much in demand. Flowers offered an enduring source of inspiration for paintings and collages sometimes decorated with tiny marks of gold, which caught the light.

Angela Diggle died in 2021.
