Blasbery studied art at Croydon College of Art, focusing on painting and printmaking.  Her exhibition at Falmouth Art Gallery in 2000 included her icon painting, A Song of Praise (oil & gold leaf).  This was representative of her stated intention of 'expressing a spiritual life-force in each painting which in themselves are only a minute part of the spiritual whole surrounding us'.
