William Collings LUKIS
Together with William Copeland BORLASE, this artist produced forty tinted lithographic plates of Cornish cromlechs, stone circles and beehive huts, said to be the most accurate drawings ever produced. These were published with the title Prehistoric Stone Monuments of the British Isles: Cornwall (1885).

Works include: plates for Prehistoric Stone Monuments of the British Isles: Cornwall (40 tinted litho plates), accurately drawn to scale by Lukis in collaboration with WC Borlase (Society of Antiquaries 1885). Six of the plates have interesting notes and drawings of some of the sites on the verso; one of these is dated 1945.
