National Federation of Artists' Studio Providers
Krowji is Cornwall’s biggest creative sector cluster, providing studios, workspaces, offices, the Melting Pot Cafe, meeting rooms and other facilities for a wide range of creative businesses at the Old Grammar School buildings in Redruth. It’s home to a vibrant creative community which currently includes painters, jewellers, furniture makers, ceramicists, textile artists, web designers, theatre companies and musicians as well as several of Cornwall’s key sector agencies such as Creative Skills, FEAST, The Works, Carn to Cove and Cornwall Film Festival. Our aim is to create a nationally significant cluster of businesses and practitioners on site who will raise Cornwall’s reputation for creative excellence, work together to maximise knowledge exchange and innovative collaboration, act as a magnet to attract more businesses to our area and contribute to the regeneration of Redruth. We’re part of a closely linked network of social enterprises which offer support for Cornwall’s thriving creative and cultural industries. Krowji is a project of ACT - Cornwall Arts Centre Trust - which is funded by Arts Council England as part of its National Portfolio programme and by Cornwall Council as a strategic client. This web site provides more information about Krowji and about the people and agencies based on site, tells you how to apply for space here and gives some links to our partners across Cornwall and beyond. Krowji is a member of the National Federation of Artists' Studio Providers.
