Truro DFAS is affiliated to the National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS). NADFAS maintains a Directory of approved lecturers covering every aspect of fine and decorative art; they are all world-class experts in their field. Here in Truro, we have 10 lectures a year, and normally a couple of special interest days. We also go on day trips and occasional tours to places of interest.

We hope to learn from these activities, but have lots of fun whilst doing so. Our Young Arts programme engages with the next generation of creative talent through local schools, sponsoring exhibitions so that their work reaches a larger audience. We care about our heritage and our volunteers are at work at various venues throughout the locale, conserving and restoring treasures for the future.
